The Cunning Farmer

Yesterday, taking advantage of the waxing Moon in Taurus , we officially began the growing season on our farm by striking out the first furrow, with prayers and offerings to Freyr, the god of agriculture and fertility and to Earth, the Mother of All. We seeded flats of vegetables and all manner of herbs, culinary, medicinal, and magical. It was a beautiful day and a very auspicious start to the season.
